Brightspace Guided Training was designed to help you onboard onto Brightspace at the pace that’s right for you. It's designed for anyone building, teaching, or facilitating courses within Brightspace, and for those that support them.

Brightspace Implementation Timeline
UCM's Blackboard contract will expire on June 30, 2025. As a result, all online courses
will be migrated to D2L's Brightspace as the sole Learning Management System supported
by UCM. Moving forward, starting with Summer 2025, UCM courses will no longer be available
within Blackboard. Early Brightspace adopters (roughly 25 UCM faculty who will use Brightspace to deliver at least one course) have been identified for the fall 2024 semester. Instructor choice will be available in the Spring 2025 semester. The full transition to Brightspace will begin in the Summer of 2025.
