August 10, 2016As the University of Central Missouri enhances its food service options to students and the local community in the Elliott Student Union, the Board of Governors has approved up to $300,000 in additional renovations and upgrades to accommodate the new Steak ‘n Shake and the relocation of Chick-fil-A, both nationally known food franchises.

Allen Iske, Jr., professor of safety sciences in the School of Environmental, Physical and Applied Sciences in the College of Health, Science, and Technology at the University of Central Missouri, has been named the recipient of the 2016 Henry F. Smyth, Jr. Award by the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
