Health Insurance for International Students

Health insurance is an important part of your stay at UCM. All international students are required to have health insurance coverage throughout their time at the university.

Please refer to the Insurance Fact Sheet for a detailed overview of the UCM Health Insurance Plan.

To view specific health insurance information based on your visa type or enrollment status, select the category that applies to you:

• F-1 and J-1 Students (Enrolled at UCM)
  Information for students holding F-1 or J-1 visas who are currently enrolled at UCM.
  
  
• H-4, F-2, and Other Visa Holders (Enrolled at UCM)
  Health insurance details for students with other visa classifications who are enrolled at UCM.
  
  
• H-1B and Sponsored Students (Enrolled at UCM)
  Guidance for students on H1B or receiving health insurance from their sponsor.
  
  
• Students on OPT (Optional Practical Training)
  Insurance options for international students currently participating in OPT after graduation.
