Dr. Tracy Colón has over 30 years of experience in acute care, public health, and nursing education. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Organizational Leadership from Graceland University. Passionate about health promotion, Dr. Colón is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education and preventive care. Her enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring drives her to prepare the next generation of nurses, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to excel in their careers.
Dr. Colón’s research centers on health promotion, wellness, and innovative healthcare delivery. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Dr. Colón currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Central Missouri, where she coordinates the MSN Nurse Educator program, preparing students to excel as nurse educators.
