Taylor Brownsberger has nursing experience specialized in acute and critical care. Over the years, she has worked in various capacities, including charge nurse, rapid response/code blue nurse, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) nurse, gaining extensive experience in managing critically ill and acutely decompensated patients.
Taylor Brownsberger's research interests include acute care nursing including effective teaching methods for nursing students in that field. She aspires to conduct research on BSN student clinical understanding evaluation methods. She is a member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
Taylor Brownsberger is currently an Instructor at University of Central Missouri, where she teaches in the School of Nursing. She is responsible for courses such as Advanced Medical Surgical Theory, Advanced Technological and Pharmacological Skills Lab, and Concepts of Adult and Older Adult Nursing II Practicum, providing students with a comprehensive education in providing care to the acute and critically ill adult patient. She also is the Simulation Director and coordinates and facilitates simulation scenarios, technology & equipment, providing students with a comprehensive education in all aspects of nursing.
