Samantha Hoover

 

Sam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Educational Technology, both from the University of Central Missouri. As a student, she held roles within UCM as a Student Worker in TRIO, Preschool Assistant Teacher at Foster Knox, and Graduate Assistant in the Education department. After obtaining her degrees, Sam taught in public school districts in the KC metro for six years. She transitioned to higher education as a staff member and has
been with UCM since January of 2020. Her work experience during her employment with UCM includes being in Advising and Online Learning and Engagement in addition to her current role in Nursing. Sam has also been an adjunct instructor for UCM’s Education department. Sam first joined the UCM School of Nursing in December 2020, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

In her role as Clinical Compliance Coordinator with UCM’s School of Nursing, she works primarily with online Graduate students in the FNP and NE programs. Sam also assists undergraduate Nursing students at the MIC campus, contributing to the overall success of the UCM School of Nursing.
