Missy Fletcher has nursing experience in Medical-Surgical and Maternal-Child Units. Over the years, she has worked in various capacities, including floor nursing, obstetric office nursing staff, surgical assistant, lactation consultant, and preceptor of new nurses and nursing students, gaining extensive experience in patient care, medication administration, IV therapies, wound care, emergency room medicine, laboring expectant mothers and delivery of newborns, newborn cares and procedures.
Missy Fletcher is actively involved in the professional nursing community. She is a member of American Nurses Association. She also is the DAISY Coordinator within the School of Nursing Program.
Missy Fletcher is responsible for courses such as Concepts of Maternal-Child Nursing didactic and practicum, Evidence-Based Practice and Research, and Advanced Technological and Pharmacological Skills Lab. She is focused on providing students with a comprehensive education in adult and maternal-child nursing.
