Dr. Flack joined the full-time faculty at the University of Central Missouri in Fall
2025, having previously served as an adjunct instructor since Spring 2022. His higher
education experience includes teaching graduate-level courses for Webster University,
Saint Louis University, and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Before transitioning to full-time higher education, Dr. Flack completed a 27-year
career in K-12 education with the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District, culminating in
his role as Executive Director of Curriculum. Following his K-12 retirement in 2023,
he served as a District Continuous Improvement Coordinator with the Kansas City Regional
Professional Development Center, supporting building leaders across the region.
He earned his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Saint Louis University, alongside a
Master of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Science in Education, and a Bachelor
of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kansas. Dr. Flack remains deeply engaged
in the educational community through active involvement in local and regional professional
organizations, including service on the Board of Directors for Learning Forward Missouri.
