Christi Richardson

Ask Dr. Christi Richardson why she loves middle school, and she won't hesitate: students are funny and quirky, and no two days are ever the same. She's been shaping UCM's future middle school teachers since 2015, bringing that energy into every lesson. A former middle school science teacher and District K-12 Science Curriculum Facilitator, she leads UCM's Middle Level Education Program with a hands-on philosophy: model the strategies you teach, and build a real connection with every student. Dr. Richardson holds a BSE in Elementary Education from Missouri State University, an MSE in Curriculum & Instruction from UCM, and an EdD from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
